How does it Work?

Our billing function is seamlessly integrated into the Lumenaza SaaS Platform, allowing us to handle the entire billing process for you - so you don’t have to worry about a thing. The software supports full processing, from quotation to invoicing, automatically transferring billing data to your DATEV system and providing it via SFTP. Benefit from flexible tariffs, automated processes and an intuitive interface, enabling you to focus on growing your business.

Customized Tariffs

Through our product catalog, you can tailor tariffs to meet your customers’ specific needs and configure them flexibly - whether it's dynamic tariffs with quarter-hourly billing based on wholesale electricity prices or annual invoices with installment payments.

Custom Invoice Layout

Design invoices that reflect your corporate identity. With easy customization options, your brand remains at the forefront. We take care of all regulatory requirements.

Offer Generation

Your configured tariffs can be seamlessly integrated into your sales process via our REST-API. Using predefined parameters - such as postal code for grid fee calculation and expected consumption - relevant prices are automatically determined. Similar parameters are available for producers.

Flexible Rating

We calculate billing positions dynamically based on tariff parameters. From cent-per-kWh pricing to percentage-based or fixed fees, our flexible options continuously evolve to meet the needs of your customers.

Bonus Management

Efficiently manage bonus programs and credits, such as the THG-quota, through our API-based solution. Both recurring and one-time bonuses can be directly integrated into invoices. Additionally, other costs - such as hardware installations - can be transferred via API and billed through the energy invoice, seamlessly integrating into your accounting processes.

Accounting

Our software automatically transfers billing data to your DATEV-System (sub-ledger). The interface can be flexibly configured to meet your requirements. If needed, open items can be retrieved from your DATEV-System and unpaid installment invoices can be reflected in end-customer invoices.

API

Tariff and billing information can be easily accessed via REST-API and seamlessly integrated into your customer portal or end-customer apps. Tariff changes can also be managed effortlessly through the API.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is electricity of clear origin?

Electricity of clear origin is local, green energy whose source is verified through our direct contracts with the plant owners. Often, the electricity purchased via green electricity tariffs is green only on paper; for example, if it comes from Norwegian hydropower plants, it has no real impact on the energy transition in the region. Lumenaza offers the opportunity to purchase genuinely green electricity from the community, giving consumers the certainty that it is produced locally. Consumers clearly understand where the electricity comes from, and because the distance between producer and consumer is short, the grid is less burdened.

What are flexibilities?

In the energy sector, flexibilities refer to the ability to respond to fluctuations in the energy market in order to balance differences between electricity generation and consumption. One example of how such differences can occur is a solar power system that generates energy based on sunlight hours rather than the times when electricity is needed. Flexibilities help balance these differences between supply and demand and therefore stabilize the electricity grid. Flexibilities can be utilized, for instance, by using software to coordinate energy demand over time. This kind of targeted control is known as demand side response.

What is demand side response?

Demand side response (DSR), also known as demand side management (DSM), refers to the targeted control of energy demand—such as electricity consumption. Instead of generating more electricity during short periods of particularly high demand, energy consumption can be managed intelligently with the help of DSR. For example, a supermarket’s frozen food sections can be switched off briefly, or energy-intensive factories can shift their production to a time when the power grid is less heavily loaded.
